New Zealand chased down Bangladesh's target of 246 runs in 42.5 overs for the loss of 2 wickets. Daryl Mitchell 89, captain Kane Williamson 78 and Dion Conway played an innings of 45 runs.

Bangladesh scored 245 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the allotted 50 overs. Bangladesh innings On behalf of Bangladesh, Liton Das and Tanzeed Hasan started the innings, but on the very first ball of the match, the wicketkeeper batsman Liton Das caught Matt Henry and returned to the pavilion without scoring any runs.
