France midfielder N'Golo Kante has joined Saudi Arabian football club Al Ittihad where he will play alongside compatriot Karim Benzema. On Wednesday, Saudi Football Club announced on Twitter that N'Golo Kante has joined Al Ittihad.

In a video shared by the football club, Karim Banrima was also seen telling his compatriot footballer, "I once said that you are the best box-to-box player." Now I am happy that I will play with you once again that too in the best Saudi team.

N'Golo Kante replied to Karim Benzema saying "I would be happy to play with the best player in the world like you and I am also very excited to play with the Lions of Etihad." In the photos shared by the football club, N'Golo Kante can also be seen wearing a yellow jersey with his name and number 7 written on it. Keep in mind that the 32-year-old French player's contract with English club Chelsea expires at the end of this month and he has not been able to play football for the past six months due to injury.

N'Golo Kante was instrumental in France's FIFA World Cup victory in 2018 while he has also won Premier League titles with Leicester City and Chelsea. Karim Benzema was signed by Al-Ittihad earlier this month after leaving Real Madrid.

In December last year, Portugal's legend footballer Cristiano Ronaldo also joined the Saudi club Al-Nasr.
