'I
want to meet Ronaldo', Indian disabled boy's dream is about to come true
An Indian fan of the
world-famous footballer, Ronaldo, is very happy that the dream of a disabled
boy has come true.
Fifteen-year-old
Muhammad Asim, a citizen of Kochi, India, was born amputated with both hands
and one leg, but he is obsessed with football.
An event
was held in the Indian state of Kerala four years ago to promote the 2022
Football World Cup in Qatar, where Asim wished to watch the Football World Cup
and meet Portuguese superstar footballer Cristiano Ronaldo. What was expressed?
Little did
he know that four years later his wish would become a reality. A businessman
was also present at an event in Kerala and he was feeling Asim's love for
football.
Kerala
businessman Mohammad Mukhtar has fulfilled Asim's wish and 15-year-old Asim
from Kochi is now going to Qatar to watch the World Cup.
According
to The Times of India, Asim will leave for Qatar on November 19 and will also
see Cristiano Ronaldo in front of his eyes.
Asim says
that I have tickets for three matches. One of them is for the match between
Portugal and Ghana which will be played on November 24. I am grateful to
Mohammad Mukhtar for fulfilling my wish.
He further
said that this is like a dream come true for me. I wish to meet Ronaldo in
person during the match between Portugal and Ghana.
He said
that "I also have plane tickets and a Haya card which is required to watch
the World Cup in Qatar."
