                FIFA World Cup; Senegal defeated Qatar by 3 goals to 1

                           

Doha: Hosts Qatar also faced defeat in their second match in the FIFA World Cup.

 In the 18th match of the mega event played at Al-Thamama Stadium, Senegal defeated Qatar by 3 goals to 1.                                            

 Boulay Dia gave Senegal the lead in the 41st minute of the first half, which was doubled by Famara Didihou in the 48th minute of the second half.

                    

Qatar's Mohammad Muntari scored a goal in the 78th minute to reduce the lead but Bamba Dieng scored the third goal in the 84th minute to seal the victory.
