According to British media, the decision comes after a controversial interview in which Ronaldo criticized the club and said that he has no respect for the club's manager.

English club Manchester United has also confirmed that Ronaldo will leave the club.

Cristiano Ronaldo bid farewell to his Italian club Juventus and rejoined Manchester United on August 28, 2021.
