Manchester: Portugal's superstar footballer Cristiano Ronaldo said goodbye to the English football club Manchester United.
According to British media, the decision comes after a
controversial interview in which Ronaldo criticized the club and said that he
has no respect for the club's manager.
English club Manchester United has also confirmed that
Ronaldo will leave the club.
Cristiano Ronaldo bid farewell to his Italian club Juventus
and rejoined Manchester United on August 28, 2021.
Ronaldo, 37, made his Manchester United debut in 2003 at the
age of 17.
Over the next six years at United, Ronaldo scored 118 goals
in 292 appearances and quickly became one of the most dangerous strikers in the
world.
Ronaldo represented Manchester United from 2003 to 2009,
after which he moved to Spanish club Real Madrid and then Italian club Juventus
in 2018.
