AHMEDABAD: The waiting hours are over, the ICC World Cup 2023 festival will be held in India from today.

The moment fans have been eagerly waiting for is finally here. The opening match of the tournament will be played today at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad between defending champions England and runners-up New Zealand. The match will start at 1:30 PM Pakistan time.

The mega event will see 10 teams fighting for the World Cup trophy from October 5 to November 19. The teams participating in the event will play a total of 45 league matches against each other.
