FIFA World Cup: The Netherlands reached the quarter-finals after defeating the USA

Doha: In the FIFA World Cup, the Netherlands reached the quarter-finals by defeating the USA. 

 In the first match of the round of 16 played at the Khalifa International Stadium, the Netherlands defeated the USA by 3 goals to 1. Memphis Depay scored the first goal for the Netherlands in the 10th minute before Dele Blind doubled the lead in first half extra time. America's Haji Wright reduced the lead by scoring the first goal in the 76th minute, but Denzel Dumfries of the Netherlands scored the third goal in the 81st minute to give the team a lead that remained until the end of the match.
