The Football World Cup 2022 in Qatar started with a colorful opening ceremony.
Emir
of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin
Salman and Turkish President Recep Tayyip ErdoÄŸan among others participated in
the opening ceremony.
The
event showcased the colors of Arabic culture, with a video before the opening
ceremony showing whales and sharks swimming under the sea, while camels and
artists performed dances at the start of the ceremony.
In
the opening ceremony of the biggest football festival in the world, famous
Bollywood actor Morgan Freeman gave a message of hope, unity and tolerance.
The
artists also performed with the flags of the participating teams in the World
Cup, after which the official mascot of the World Cup football was brought to
the field.
South
Korea's popular music band, BTS's singer Jong Kook performed on the World Cup's
official song Dreamers along with Qatar's well-known artist Fahad Al-Khubasi. A
large number were present.
The
Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, announced the formal opening of
the World Cup football, after the speech of the Emir of Qatar, fireworks were
also displayed, after which the grand ceremony came to an end.
It
should be noted that a total of 32 teams are participating in the FIFA World
Cup, the first match will be between Qatar and Ecuador, the World Cup matches
will continue from November 20 to December 18.
