Doha: In FIFA World Cup 2022, Japan defeated Germany by 2 goals to 1.

In the 10th match of the mega event played at the Khalifa International Stadium, Japan defeated Germany by 2 goals to 1.                            

Germany's Ilkay Gundogan scored a penalty in the 33rd minute to give the team a lead that lasted until the end of the first half.                                   

Japan's Ritsu Doan equalized the lead in the 75th minute and Takuma Asano scored the second goal in the 83rd minute to give Japan the lead.
