In the 45th match of the International Cricket Council (ICC) World Cup, India defeated the Netherlands by 160 runs.

In Bengaluru, the Indian cricket team won the toss and batted first, giving the Netherlands a target of 411 runs to win, in response to which the Netherlands team scored 250 runs. Netherlands' Teja Ndamanuru scored 54 and Sybrand 45, while Colin Ackerman scored 35 and Max O'Dodd scored 30. Indian bowlers Mohammad Siraj, Bhamra, Kuldeep Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja took two wickets each while Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma also dismissed one player each.

Earlier, India batted first and scored 410 runs for 4 wickets in the allotted 50 overs. The Indian openers started the aggressive batting and both their batsmen scored half-centuries. India's next wicket fell on the score of 129 when Indian captain Rohit Sharma was caught out for 61 runs with 2 sixes and 8 fours.

After that, Indian batsmen Virat Kohli and Suresh Iyer increased the team's score, but when the team completed the 200 mark on the scoreboard, the stylish right-handed batsman Virat Kohli scored 51 runs. In his innings he hit 1 six and 5 fours.
